Maya Foundation is organizing volunteer teams to minimize earthquake damage and help rebuild cultural heritage, while acting as a bridge between donors and affected communities. The teams are structured as follows:
Technical Group: Comprises technicians (engineers, plumbers, carpenters, etc.) who will be mobilized as needed. The organizer will prepare detailed project reports, including budget, timeframe, and materials, and coordinate with victims, communities, and donors. Wages for volunteers will be decided by the Foundation and the organizer.
Operation, Relation, and Commodity Management Group: Manages volunteer databases, tracks volunteers, and mobilizes them to various projects. It also provides required construction materials and keeps detailed project descriptions.
Administrative Group: Handles volunteer attendance, timesheets, wages, and manages all financial and official documents.
Service Management Group: Arranges food, water, transportation, and accommodation for volunteers, especially those working out of the valley, and provides first aid.
Monitoring Group:Oversees the progress of reconstruction work and monitors the performance of volunteer groups.
Process:Technicians are selected based on experience, with daily workers paid according to attendance. Food and water are managed via coupons, with expenses covered by donor funds.
